Max was taken to the shelter because his family decided they didn’t want him any more. He is very eager to please and has a lot of energy. Our sense is that he was pretty much left outside and ignored. He came with mats and smelled awful. He LOVED getting all gussied up. He loves to go onthe leash, loves to run and likes balls. he is a big boy and we are working with him to slim him down. He likes other dogs.

He gets anxious in new situations, but is very willing to learn what to do. He will do really well in a family that has lots of space and are willing to spend some time with him. He is very smart and will work hard.
