Lilly is a 3-year-old female Golden retriever. She is spayed, had all her shots and tests and has been chipped. She is VERY affectionate and loves being with people.

She loves other dogs and is loving being part of a pack.

Chaco is a 2-year-old Golden Retriever Cross. We think the *other* is a border collie. He is chipped, tested for heartworm and tick diseases and has had his shots.

We have no information about his *before* life but he is very amenable to whatever is happening. He is not a prince, LOL, more like a rural farmer’s boy who is delightful and not worldly.

He is a nice boy. we all like him.

Finn is an older Golden Retriever/Husky Cross. He was given to us by the owner’s family when the owner had to go into the hospital and could not care for him.

He is one of the most loving, funny dogs we have had in the last year. He has lost weight, is running around like a spring chicken, laughing and throwing things in the air. He loves to go walking and riding in the car. He loves his bed from Costco and acts like the Emperor when he lies on it. He also talks like a Husky and has a lot to say.

He reminds me when it is time for meds for the others, and when it is time for dinner. He tells me I could take him along in the car. He is spry and active now. He likes other dogs. We have no information about how he is with cats. He does have a high interest in bunnies, so my intuition is he might go after a cat.

He has had all his shots and is chipped and neutered.
I would consider Finn one of our *jewel* dogs and whoever gets him will be thrilled. If you are looking for a loving companion, this is your boy.

Bella is a girl who came from TN. She was phobic about thunderstorms and they wanted to move her where there are not so many. We agreed to take her.

She is loving, funny and a real sweetheart. She wants to please. Needs to be with someone who can help her be calm with thunder. Has been spayed, chipped and has all her shots.

She remains edgy about thunderstorms but does fine if she is with someone. Really likes the company of other dogs. She needs to be in a home with calm dogs and quiet people.

This is a very dear and loving dog.

ADOPTED: Haku is a 2-year-old red male. He is gorgeous, loving, and very loyal. I will put his picture up later today. He is healthy, athletic, had had his shots and is chipped. He gets along with other dogs, is great with children.

He is an escape artist and knows how to open gates. He is also a velcro dog so will need to be in a family where people are home and connected.

Paco in bed

ADOPTED We have an email list for Golden Retriever Rescue Presidents. Paco was listed there by the Dallas group. They had him in a foster home and said he was anxious and needed to be in a home with someone there all day. I told them I had experience with anxious dogs so they sent him over.
He is as funny as all get out. He thinks he is a prince and sleeps in the middle of my bed. He thinks he should go on all car rides. He likes other dogs.
Paco is the essence of why we do rescue. If you want a picture-perfect dog, he is not your boy. But if you want love, a golden heart, gratitude and joy and you can deal with an older guy, you can’t get a better choice. He is healthy and surprisingly hearty given his story.
I love this character and know that one of you will be thrilled to give the prince a *royal* life.

ADOPTED: Shelock is the second of the detective boys. They came as brothers with the same father although not from the same litter.

He is funny, curious and loving. Still a little shy but getting more adventurous every day.

He is healthy, neutered chipped and had his shots. His temperament is 100% Golden even though his fur is black. The brothers are very nice dogs.

Watson is a six-year-old Golden Retriever cross. He is loving, sweet and funny. His foster mom said he is a true Golden personality, but just happens to be black. He and Sherlock are brothers, although they had different mothers. Same black lab as a father.

They are both funny as all get out. They are shy and still a bit skittish around men. They love to go walking and are very affectionate.

ADOPTED: Sparky is a two-year-old sweet little girl. She came to us with a broken leg. Her owner released her to the vet because they couldn’t afford to have surgery on her. We raised the money for her surgery. She is completely healed.

She is about 40 pounds and is VERY athletic. She is a Golden cross…border collie and a touch of tiny poodle. She is very loving and very agile. She would love to do agility. She likes other dogs but can be a bit sassy with other females.

She is affectionate and loving.
