Maddie is the one sitting in the very middle. She is 1.5 years old. She and her sister came in because their owner is no longer able to care for them. They were pretty much left to fend for themselves outside. They are learning how to be in the house and how to be dogs by being in this healthy pack.

They will get shots tomorrow, be chipped and scheduled for a spay. They are very sweet and are loving learning about tennis balls and treats.

Leyla is the one sitting in the bottom right corner. She is 1.5 years old. She and her sister came in because their owner is no longer able to care for them. Leyla is curious and loves exploring new things. She decided she likes treats, has learned to use the doggie door and is quite funny.

Teo is a 3 year old male whose family is expecting a new baby. They feel they just won’t be able to give him the time and attention he needs.

He is a nature dog, loves to go out to the mountains and walks where he can go off leash. He also loves water, rivers, the ocean and his bowl. He is a good traveler, and enjoys car rides. He collects sticks, blankets and indestructible toys.

He is very social with humans. He grew up with a chihuahua so is comfortable with small dogs. He is a little more cautious with bigger dog but loves to play.

Teo is a big boy, young and with a lot of energy.He is NOT a couch potato.

Harvey is a 3 year old blond male. He was surrendered by his owner who is being transferred out of town and couldn’t take his dogs.Harley is shy and very sweet. He is a big boy who loves life. He can lose about 15 pounds which is happening already because he is running with the pack in the yard here.

He is a leaner. He will do very well with another dog because he likes having someone in charge.He is just an all around nice dog.

He is neutered, chipped and had all his shots.

Rosie is a 3 year old spayed female. She was surrendered by her owner because he is being transferred and could not take dogs with him.

She is sweet, athletic and an all round Golden Retriever. She loves people, is well trained and happy with life. They have been running around the yard playing chase.

She needs to lose about 10 pounds but I think that will happen naturally with all the running she is doing.

Mick is a two year old Golden cross. He is very sweet and affectionate. He is one of the sweetest dogs I have had in a very long time. He likes other dogs. He loves people and loves going in the car. If you want a leaner, he is your guy.

He has been staying with me so I have gotten to know him. I really like this dog a lot.

He is very well trained and is well behaved. Has had shots, is neutered and chipped.

He is very, very smart and knows how to get out of things and places. He also knows how to jump fences so he will need to be with someone who knows how to keep him on a leash so you know where he is LOL. He has an interesting back story so if you are interested, get in touch and we can chat.

HARLEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED
Harley is a 2 year old female who was surrendered by a family who had to care for their in-laws who were not comfortable with having a larger dog in the house. Harley loves people, dogs, children and life. She loves to play. She is quite athletic.
Harley weighs more than her personal best so we are working on her diet and waiting for the results of thyroid testing. She has been spayed, has had her shot and is ready to go. She has been to the groomer so her feet are no longer fuzzy.

Chico is a nine year old boy who is being surrendered to GRRNM because his owners moved from CO to get a new home in the East Mountains.They are staying with their kids and grandkids. Chico was used to being in a quiet home with older people and being in a new place with lots of people and kids was little much for him so they decided to surrender him to rescue.

He is neutered, up to date on his shots, and is microchipped.He has a medical issue going on but the vet is not at all concerned about it. You can talk with me and I will fill you in about the details.

This is a really, really sweet guy. He acts more like a five year old than a nine year old. He likes the other dogs, does want to be on the couch, apparently does not like cats. No arthritis. last night he was bouncing around he was so happy to be at camp with us. He loves to be petted and loves just sitting with his people.

Cisco is a 15 month Golden Retriever/Great Pyr. mix I took him because he is a really nice dog and I know a number of you have said you would consider a mix. He is very sweet. Likes people, likes dogs.

He has had his shots, is microchipped and has an appointment to be neutered.

He loves going in the car, loves walking, loves people and other dogs. And he is a teenager so he doesn’t really know where is body is yet. He was just left outside and not cared for so he is learning manners 🙂 and is VERY excited to learn stuff.We are working on his training everyday/

This is a great dog. He is a big boy, loyal, affectionate, laid back and independent.
