Adopted

Brandy is a 18 month old Golden with a lovely personality. She is quiet, laid back and has a sunny disposition. She was an owner surrender from a family that just did not have the time to take care of her.

William and Daisy are little Golden Mixes who are about 4 months old. They are very energetic and loving. If you have ever imagined doing agility, one of these pups would be a perfect candidate. The are quick, agile and love to perform. They run and run and then want to hop in your lap and be cuddled.

They both look just the same although Daisy is a bit bigger.

If you are looking for a puppy and want to have the fun of building their relationship ship with you, these are really sweet.

We placed Tony last year and he was soooo happy. Unfortunately, his new owner has been transferred back east and he could not take him. So he is back with us and wanting a new home. He is still darling.

here are some new pictures

These two are brothers and are the sweetest, most loving guys I have had in a long time. Tony is on the right. They were abandoned in an apartment, animal service was called and they were taken into protective custody. The father in law of the guy who abandoned them called us, sprung them and brought them to our care place. They arrived in terrible condition.

We washed and scrubbed them, and got all the mats and knots out, put conditioner on them. They were smiling and woofing! They LOVE going in the car, they love going walking. Exercise and good food are doing wonders. They are great with other dogs…laid back and funny.

These two are funny and LOVE people. They are up to date on shots, are chipped and neutered.

Their foster mom reports: Tony – more sedate, very loving. Absolutely loves to stand by you and just enjoy being petted as long as you’re willing to do it. He will go into his kennel at night and is very quiet and happy to just wait for morning to come. He is a very good traveler – quiet and calm. Tony will sit before entering the house when made to do so. he certainly does not rush the door. About the only real rush is to the food dish.

Jeter us a 5 year old boy coming out of a family with small children and a new baby on the way. He is house trained, has had a lot of obedience training and likes other dogs.

In the last month or so, he was becoming more possessive of his things around the kids and recently had an unfortunate incident with snapping at one of the children on the hand. The parents made the decision that with a toddler and a new baby coming, it might be better for Jeter to be in a new household.

He is a very nice dog and is very bonded with males. he will do well with a *hero* who can enjoy his training and take him out working and walking. He has a summer haircut, needs some time at the *spa*, oh wait, he is a boy, at boot camp, but that is easy enough.

I am not going to place him in a family with children

Ok, he has a new home!!! He is one happy boy.

Ok, so these are her before grooming and after grooming pics . Goldie was surrendered by her owners who had kept her in the back yard for 7 years. They said she kept getting out and they couldn’t keep her. So, she is happily in my back yard, not trying to get out at all. She did not like being looked in the pen, so just went under it. Clearly the issue is her wanting to be with people and not about running away.

Everyone, including me loves her. She is funny, affectionate, a leaner and very sweet. They said she is 7. My guess more like 8 or so. She is a little chunky, but that is easy enough.

If you want a mellow, sweet dog who is good with kids, she be your girl.

Sophie is a one year old darling. She is a Golden Retriever mix. We are calling her a flat coated retriever for fun. I am including her foster’s report. My own assessment is that this dog is a ten. And her coat feels like velvet. I have never felt any face so soft.

My own observation of her is that she is darling. She gets to be an honorary golden because of the temperament. You know every so often we are asked to take a mix. I always decide based on the temperament. This dog is a 10.

Happy to report that Sophie’s ABQ foster decided that she was a perfect dog and there is no way she is gonna leave. LOL they are a good match.

Sienna is a 3 year old very settled girl. She loves children and other dogs. The owner’s daughter moved to New Zealand so they expect to be traveling there a lot and they felt it would be better for her to be in a home rather than in a kennel all the time.

.She is very athletic so would be a good dog for someone looking for a dog to go running with. She loves children and other dogs. She does not do well with cats. She is very affectionate and is a leaner.

Sienna has wonderful new home out in the country. She loves being out and about!

Hopi is a one year old little female who is very affectionate and loving. She loves to go walking. She is spayed. She is a sock eater, so she needs to go to a home that is careful about socks and such

She will be better in a home with other children rather than little ones. She likes other dogs and is very playful

Rosie is a girl who was surrendered by her owners. The got her as a puppy and then had twins and just felt like they couldn’t take care of her.

She is very sweet, loving and well trained. I call her a funny dog because she is so engaging. Today I washed castillo so there was a huge puddle of water left in the back yard, so Rosie decided to act like a Robin and splash herself totally wet. Then, of course, she went and rolled in the dirt. It just made me laugh and two hours later it is all dried and I bushed her out.

She loves to walk on a leash and is very playful.

She likes other dogs and cats.. I really like this girl, LOL.

Let me know if you want to meet her.

Hank is 4 and is very athletic and gorgeous. His owner surrendered him to us. He was owned by the son who got a job where he will be spending lots of time out of town and felt it just wouldn’t be fair to Hank to stay with mom. He is very good around kids. He is a real sweetheart and loves to run and swim, He is house broken, no accidents in years. He will sit, lay, stay and just about whatever you want, he loves to please. He needs a place to be cool all the time and need a lot of water, loves running water. He only take a few minutes to settle down and then he is really a GREAT dog with a lot of LOVE to give. He will bark when guarding his yard from strangers. He will sleep anywhere on the floor and stays put.

Hank is a really nice dog. Email if you would like to meet him. kathleen@radiantrecovery.com
